Our history and our project:
In 2024, in deciding to undertake this challenge, the Partners had no doubts about the name to give to this company. It might seem banal and obvious, given that the goal of the partnership is to do quality agriculture combined with the production of energy from renewable sources. Instead, it is not, because this name wants to represent the most ambitious and, I would say, unique challenge at this time: to produce a pure honey that can offer customers all the solar energy that nature has stored and that it gives back to us in the form of precious nectar processed by bees that drips from the honeycombs.
Such a pure and quality product can only come from happy and sunny bees, who, despite the difficulties of these times, manage to be in perfect health, growing in healthy environments, protected from pollution and climatic pressures. This is the challenge for which Aldo, Franco, Giacomo, Giuseppe and Mauro, combining their different skills, work to make our bees feel better through more comfortable and technological hives, able to reduce a little the fatigue and stress for these wonderful insects. They carefully choose, and on the basis of reliable data, the areas in which to raise the bees and produce the honey. Furthermore, obsessive attention is dedicated to ensuring that, during extraction and conservation, this special nectar can be even minimally altered. All this is not just stated in words, but will be codified in a system of traceability and tangible data collection, which, with the support of Blockchain, will be verifiable by customers without the hand of man being able to interfere to adapt or modify them. Air quality sensors, ambient and hive temperature, georeferences of the production oases and compliance with high-quality processing and conservation protocols are some of the data that accompany our product, capable of guaranteeing pure honey, a synthesis of the clean energy of the flora that characterizes the flowering oases where the bees forage. Ape Solare wants to return healthy and above all uncontaminated products, and aims to bring consumers closer to a product in which each of you can discover the essence of the aromas and scents that characterize the flora of that particular territory. This purity of our honey will give you the opportunity to discover that each honey is unique compared to the others, because contaminations of various kinds, even if marginal, and industrial processes tend to homogenize the product. Sensitivity to the environment and the need to guarantee a better environment for future generations have made the members decide to improve their management and breeding techniques, in order to guarantee not only products with a higher quality standard, but also carbon free. All these attentions, obviously, lead to a reduction in the quantities of honey produced per hive, but they are convinced that this is the way to offer a superior quality product, for your health and for that of the territories of the Monviso Biosphere.

Monviso Biosphere
The Monviso Biosphere is a protected area located in the mountainous region of Monviso, which is part of the Cottian Alps, on the border between Italy and France. It has been recognized as a Biosphere by UNESCO under the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) program, which aims to promote the conservation of biodiversity and the improvement of human well-being through the sustainable management of natural resources.

Natural Production
Honey production according to ancient traditions respects the natural cycle of bees, allowing them to guide each phase without artificial intervention. The hives are placed in pristine environments, and the bees feed exclusively on nectar and pollen collected from flowers. Honey is collected only when fully ripe, using manual and non-invasive methods, guaranteeing purity and quality. Sufficient honey is always left for the bees, preserving the health of the hive. This approach celebrates the bond between man and nature, offering a unique, authentic honey produced in harmony with the environment

Innovation and traceability
Traceability of honey production is a fundamental process that allows monitoring every stage of its production, from nectar collection to processing and sale. This system guarantees the authenticity and quality of the product, ensuring that each step meets safety and sustainability standards. Each batch of honey can be traced and verified, through labeling and accurate documentation, to ensure that it comes from controlled apiaries and is not adulterated. Traceability is therefore essential to protect consumers and preserve the quality of honey in compliance with regulations.
